About Isabel

Isabel Méau is an English mother tongue (UK) translator. She grew up and studied in the United Kingdom before moving to Paris where she has lived for more than fifteen years. She is perfectly bilingual and bicultural and holds France - UK dual nationality.

Isabel worked for over ten years in top-tier business law firms in Paris before becoming a freelance legal translator, specialised in commercial law. She holds an MA in French Literature and Culture from Royal Holloway, University of London, along with the prestigious translation diploma of the Chartered Institute of Linguists Educational Trust (DipTrans).
